Where was the theme song filmed?

I know the location of the L&W apartment well (being a proud St Kildasider), but always wanted to know where the opening song was filmed. It looks like the bottom of Chapel St in the aerial shot (near the Carlisle/Inkerman intersections) but it's hard to tell. You can also spot the old housing commission high rises from street level if you look closely, which aren't on chapel Street.

Any thoughts?
