"Comedy duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will downsize their high-rating radio show to a weekly broadcast in 2011, Austereo has announced. A statement from Hamish and Andy said the reduced air time would give the pair more time and flexibility to work on other projects "simply not achievable alongside a five-day a week radio schedule". "Ando and I (are) looking to challenge ourselves, I guess, with a bit of time, seeing what else we can do. But, of course ... (we) can never walk away from the show," Hamish said on Wednesday. "We've had a ball doing the show in its current form and thanks to everyone who's listened, we've literally got to live our dreams. "This decision is simply an evolution of that and we're really excited for the next chapter of our adventure, because we're big believers in what Abraham Lincoln always said during the brief period he was a greengrocer, keep it fresh." The popular show, which has run for five years, will continue on air until November 27. "I guess it's a bit of we'll see," Hamish told a caller who asked about the pair's future career plans. Andy said he intended to devote more time to his neglected cumquat tree." - Sydney Morning Herald I was sad when they uploaded their message on Facebook telling what they had done. I am a mad podcaster and won't have anything to listen to for the other 4 days a week

Yeah I saw that - I never listen to their show but I do quite like them. I'm sure most of Australia will be pretty disappointed with the news.
