Ok am i right in saying that this show is completely a waste of time. I mean, yes it had Colin Lane in it, which help to pitch the level of the show up a tiny bit and yes my fave comedian Tahir was on it with Pauly, which helped another tiny bit, but i havent been so bored watchin a comedy show since i tried to watch an American sitcom. I felt so sorry for Colin. When i was talkin to Tahir at the casino thursday night after his show, he was telling us how he and Pauly had flown down from schoolies week on the goldcoast to film Australia's Brainiest Wog, and ended up sitting around for hours waiting, bored shitless. He said the audience was bored out of their brains, Colin was bored cause the jokes were not working and the Pizza guys got the best laughs out of the night, and even then it wasnt the greatest response.
Did anyone else feel this?? To me it was 4 hours of a huge plug for money and not much comedy. Very unsimilar to MICF which is hilarious and raises heaps of money.

I hate Fat Pizza and The Wedge, but I can kind of understand why they were invited to take part.
I just wish they'd included veteran comedians that WEREN'T shit, like that Ugly Dave Gray guy. The jokes deadpanned - no, they did worse than that. They choked on their own bile!

Yeah even Tahir was askin that question Kirri, why have Ugly Dave Gray when hes all washed up? I didnt mind the bit with Pauly and Tahir cause theyre mates of mine, or watchin Colin shakin his arse around the stage, but for the most of it i was bored stiffless.
Yeah i cant stand the wedge. I watched it once and thought it was worse than Let Loose Live, yet it has lasted longer. I love Pizza though. I think its a bit like Borat cause at parts its so politically wrong its just funny. I loved the episode when they went to Nimbin. I wanna go now.

The weirdest thing was that it was a complete failture last year as well, yet they still brought it back again this year. Really weird.
At least i got to see Pauly, Colin and Tahir on the tele again though.
For pizza fans out there: this year they are releasing another 2 series, another around the world tour with Pauly, Habib, Kevin and Katrina (Rockys g/f) and another movie, so there is plenty of pizza to go around. For those who havent seen it before, check it out. Everyone is coming back including Sleek. Woopwoopwoop

i agree with this whole thing, they need to let the comics have more creative control, otherwise this show will just continue to flop, and knowing that all the comedians back stage were bored is telling you something!

Yea I h8 the Wedge just to start me off lol I loved the round the world pizza one so I'll prolly watch that Yes I think Ang has a great point because I don't think many of the jokes Colin was saying were his own because he was reading from an autocue and all that stuff... You could tell when it was one of his jokes really but Yea I think it would have been faaaar far more successful if the comedians had more control. Plus I think the MICF is more successful at raising money because rather than spending half an hour talking about it they have frequent little reminders to call oxfam or whatever. I know it sound harsh but it was comic relief! That's how it should be!

Yeah im glad others had the same thoughts as me. Or was i just too out of it or have i lost my sense of comedy?? ahhh. But now i see others think its shit, im better.
I know. World Pizza was so funny, but my fave is definately Nimbin. So funny. Some of the new episodes are from around the world. Except this time different people accompany pauly and they go to other locations, like Paris. Cant wait to see it.
