We're a forum for a comedy duo. We also like a LOT of other comedians. So I thought there should be a section specifically for that. What this forum is for: Discussion about comedians. Discussion about sightings of comedians. Discussion about live performances you have seen- whether comedy or drama or other genre. Discussion about filmed live performances, such as you may find on dvd or sometimes broadcast on tv. 'What's On' in your area, in terms of live performances. What this forum is not for: Discussion of musicans. (You can discuss going to see the concert though) That stays in the Media section. Discussion of comedians *in tv shows or movies*. For example, you could make a thread about how much you like Simon Pegg, but this is not the section to talk about Hot Fuzz in. That goes in media. Discussion for example, about Adam Hills false foot goes in here. Discussion of what he said on Spicks and Specks goes in the Media section. Discussion of comedy movies or tv shows. Discussion of going to see sport or something - that'd go in the Off Topic section. Discussion of a tv show where people have to do stuff 'live' but it's not like, a filming of a live performance. For example- Thank God You're Here is filmed in front of a live audience. But it's not a 'live show', like say, one of Ross Noble's dvds is. If you went to see Thank God You're Here being filmed on the other hand, that'd count as a 'live performance'. Comedy tv shows still go into the Media section. This will probably have to be added to in future.

I'm also in the process of moving threads over. Mods- I ask you to please not help me with this, because I have a system going. And I'm not moving threads which are now defunct, such as ones with pictures, where the pictures aren't there anymore, or ones that are for 'all such and such talk goes in this thread!' because that's not necessary anymore either. Also, feel very free to make threads that are more involved than 'this is a thread for [insert comedian]'. A specific question or discussion topic is fine and encouraged! So when you're titling something, unless it really IS a general topic about the comedian, please try to be more clear than just the name of the person.

Good idea. Getting very complicated at times trying to search through all threads. So many now. The M*A*S*H forum is a bit like this as well.

Also, I thought well, we DO talk about other comedians a lot. We might as well make it 'official'.
