Ohh, sounds like fun!! I would love to go however my parents are stingy bastards, and constantly think I'm going to get raped or be accosted by some gang. The fact that I've done 6 months of self defense changes nothing Wouldn't even let me go see Don's Party by myself....... the angst! Plus it's looking to be around VCE-stress time... pfft. Would still love to go! I'll see what I can do, but definitely no promises at this stage. I have hope though!! Lots. |

You know, there's been two accounts of men trying to drag girls into cars in my town in the last week. One girl was 16, one was 14. How scary's that? I could probably handle being in that situation because I used to do tae kwon do when I was little-ish (probably a little bit rusty, but I can still kick the rapists ass!) and we had this funny guy come to our school to tell us what to do in that situation. But still, I'd rather not be in that situation in the first place.
Anyway...this really doesn't have anything to do with anything...but yeah. I'm still not sure what date you guys are planning on going...

i have no idea what time they plan to go either. lol i know when i'll be there but i've got no idea when everyone else will be there. . . . . . .. . . . . .
i know the white belt routine for tae kwon do:P haha my best mate (male) is a senior black belt in it:P so i used to go along sometimes and watch and get bored so i'd join in:P haha.
oo the joy. . . . .

haha lol yeah, well my friend only stuck around because he wanted to run the local tae kwon do centre ( he lives in a small town) and now he's got there he almost runs the place so he got what he was aiming for which is great. . .

I can't remember what the seminar was called, but he definitely had a weird laugh. Everytime he laughed so did everyone else, just because his laugh was so funny. He had a bit of a kiwi accent too. |

OMG why did it take me so long to read this thread?! I'd love to meet up with y'all and see Don's Party! I won't be hostelling it up with you though cos I live in Sydney and I can't afford accommodation. Man, that just hit me - I'm so poor I can't afford to stay in a hostel. Ouch. So um yeah, count me in 100%!
PS, not trying to panic anyone, but Sydney Theatre Company's shows can sell out pretty quickly, so we should probably book seats ASAP, when we can work out a date that suits everyone. I can go whenever, if that's any help... And can we pretty pretty pretty please wait at the stage door afterwards so we can say hi to Col? *bats eyelashes and does what is meant to look like a cute puppy dog's face but looks more like a cute puppy dog's bottom*
