great! Pass the link around on your emails. Like, forward it to everyone on y our list, and tell them to forward it on too if they know of lano and woodley. And obviously tell them what it's about in the email... and a bit about lano and woodley unless they might like to *learn* about it even if they don't know it already. Or, post the link on your lj... as a post, not in your profile. tell people to pass it on if they like them too. Put it in signatures on other forums, or if you're allowed, make a post about it.

has anyone ever heard of online petitions working?? As much as I got all my friends to sign and all I'm still a bit skeptical about the whole thing

^ i'll explain again then. No, by itself, online petitions do not work. What you need to do is get someone's attention and show it to them. That happened with getting Maid Marian and Her Merry Men out on dvd- one of the actors found it, he told the writer, who was very surprised that anyone WANTED it on dvd, and then he took steps to get it onto dvd for us because he realised that there would be a market for it.
If it just sits there, it's of no use. But what you do is you get attention somehow with it, or for it. But there's no chance unless we try.

You just use the internet petition as a tool to collect signatures from around the country, and then you do something with those signatures.

Um, not really no. But, I know we'll need more than we have. And signing it lots of times yourself won't work either.

I have a signed copy which is one of my little treasured possessions. ;D I must admit that they were pretty surprised to see one of them when I turned up at their show to have it signed.

Are there really only 1000 copies of the book? I bought one when it came out - I knew they'd stopped selling them, but didn't think the number of copies was so small.

I have a copy of Housemeeting - hilarity! I think they should re-print it, look how many people are interested! And for a very good reason too!

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but there are actually 20 000 copies floating around. Luckily enough for me, I have scored a copy off eBay fo $50 which is an excellent price! Oh, I signed the petition aswell! Picture of my book!!:
