Okay the list of questions so far. There is more somewhere, i just have to find the right threads. Got question, no that we have one thread for it ;D, post it, and i'll add to the list. *What was it like for Frank to fall off the 10 metre diving board backwards!! In the "The Pool" episode.
*You've been performing together for twenty solid years - in all that time, what is the most important thing you have learned?
*Is there anything you would've liked to do, or have you achieved all that you wanted as Lano & Woodley?
*How has your friendship changed over twenty years?
*what inspired you to make beard fear a part of your tv series
*Does frank have divers lungs, or was there a trick to your tape trick we didnt pick up on?
*So how long have you REALLY been sleeping together?
*What is with your shoes? Frank you seem to have had the same pair for the whole 20 years, and Col your shoes are always emaculate.
*Can you give us any teasers on the movie? What's it about?
*Do you read your fan forum? Do you think we're all rabbit-boilers?
*frank were u ever a gymnist???
*And the movie, i think is of the utmost importance and would they ever go back to indy style of film making rather than leaving it in the hands of a production company with money?...well probably to me.
*If you were a coloured animal, what would you be?
*Pre-stage rituals. Every artist seems to have em, do they?
*Are you, have you, or did you ever get sick of Danny Boy?
*have you ever had proposals of marrage from randoms?
*have you ever been given a doll by fans? *wink wink wink* lol OR have you ever been given a home made thing from a fan? eg a doll? haha ;D
*Or how do the fans appreciate you? *Did the fact that your old manager left, and did other things have an impact on your decision to split up now, or if she was still your manager would you still have decided that now is the right time to go your separate ways? Frank - "We we we may have, but certainly, her, because she was with us for 10 years, certainly when she did decide to leave that probably did throw a bit of seed in, you know throw a seed in our minds that maybe it was time for something new. so um its hard to tell because when we did decided that, that, you know we were going to call it quits in term of the live touring it felt very right. So probably we would have made that decision anyway."*Col, what makes Frank a great person to write and perform with? And Frank, what about Col? Col- "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeee is a, a good comedy scholar, he reads alot about comedy and a disects how to a, um write a joke. He also knows alot about frogs and knows how to disect them. Um, that was supposed to be funnier than i thought. And a he, a has no ligiments or a um, tendions um between his bones so it makes him look funnier. And alot of the time we get our ideas from just following him around because unfortunately for him he's a bit of a dickhead in real life."*After the tour being such a success, did you at any stage think 'oh bugger it, let's just keep going' or was the desire to get as far away from each other as possible too great? Frank- "After you Colin" Col- "Um, no. (laugh) No I think that we realise that alot of people are coming out to see us because its the last time they'll ever see us. And if we try to come back next year it would just be you know probably,aa probably a horrible mistake. And instead of people coming and laughing and a, throwing affection and questions at us, it just be them coming and they'd be throwing something else at us. Um I think we realise that thats the reason people are coming out, i think its good that we've been able to a, say goodbye now instead of waiting down the track asn say goodbye when perhaps we dont like each other as much."*On their ads and suchforth it sayd they are saying goodbye to the road... Does this mean you may still do things together other than live performances?? Col- "We're not really sure but we're certainly not going to do any more tours, um we're certainly not going to do anymore kinda live shows around the place. But if someone eventually said yes to us making a movie then we'd do that. If someone actually said finally yes to us reading the news, then we'd do that. If someone said yes to us actually running our own small fishing company. But certainly no live touring."

*LOL* I was kidding about the 'sleeping together' question! Though the answer would be VERY interesting! Here's another question: Col, what makes Frank a great person to write and perform with? And Frank, what about Col?

you can just imagine what they'd say to that, if there in their usual funny mood it will be something serious, unless there in a serious mood in which it may be sweet.

I'm sure the more time with them the better hehe! I think that scene was a composite of three (or more) different takes of Frank diving from the board, spliced together to make it look like one massive dive.

Is it still possible to tape the phone interview? I guess it's a little harder to record than a face-to-face interview...?

Ok last night while eating dinner I typed up about 3 pages of questions to ask them. I got a reply today, that I wont ahve to ring them, they can do a call in. Whatever that means...but yeah there is a thing i can borrow from uni that will let me connect something to the phone line, and then it records the conversation...ooo got to get that! Or otherwise put it on speaker phone and hope that records it...will test it out tonight or soemtime before the interview.
Here are a list o the questions: Lano and Woodley interview
- Did you know that you filmed The Island in November, not August lol and we wouldn’t mind at all if you went back and re-filmed those parts that were stuffed up.
- What happened to your old manager and why did you decide to have Token as your management?
- Did the fact that your old manager left, and did other things have an impact on your decision to split up now, or if she was still your manager would you still have decided that now is the right time to go your separate ways?
- Please explain the Edinburgh Festival joke, about minus number of people turning up?
-On the subject of Edinburgh Festival, what was it like winning the Perrier Award, and being one of only 2 Australians, or in your case, on of 3 who have won the award.
-Before you went to the Edinburgh Festival, there was another guy, Scott Casley. Why did he decide to leave the group, what is he doing now, and do you keep in contact, cause I notice that he’s still mentioned in like the cd you guys released last year.
-You’ve been performing solidly around Australia for the past 20years about 5 of them as Found Objects with Scott. In all that time what is the most important thing you have learned?
- Is there anything you would like to have done, or have you done all the things as a comedy duo that you wanted to achieve?
-Col what makes Frank a great person to write and perform with? What drives you nuts about him, and is the fact that he is a dickhead made you want to call it quits. Repeat with Frank.
-How has your friendship changed over the past 20years?
-Does Frank have divers lungs or is there some trick to your tape trick that we fans haven’t picked up on?
- So how long have you been sleeping together for?
- With the tour selling out quickly, especially the final 3 shows in Melbourne later this year….3months to be precise, did you think at any stage oh bugger it lets keep going? Or was the desire to get as far away from each other as possible too powerful? -Can you give us any clues as to what your movie is going to be about, that is when the Aus film industy gets more funding so that more films can be made? Or have you considered going independent and making a budget film?
-Do you read your fan forum? Do you think we’re all way too obsessed?
-All the reviews say that you are saying goodbye to the road, does this mean you will still do stuff together, like on tv, or does it mean you are going to be doing your own things?
-Have you ever had crazy fans, saying things like hi im jenny window, asking to marry you or have your babies?
-Any things that fans may give you to say thanks, do you keep them? One fan on the forum who saw you at Lismore, holly, gave you frank an doll, she wants to know if you stil have it?
-Do you have any pre-performance rituals?
-Do you have any regrets about leaving your characters in prison in the final episode of the tv series, or do you have plans to make a 3rd series and they get released?
-Do you ever have fans coming up to you and saying they don’t like certain things you’ve done, eg for me, Col you making fun of people, like myself, with speech impediments coming up and saying they hate you for that? People feeling uncomfortable with certain things, like hmm capital punishment…in the island?
-What are your future plans?
-Col you were in LLL, would you like to do more stuff like that? I thought you were great in that, except that weird skit with the majic…what was that all about? And whenever I see those cops with the armour thing, I always think of the Blue heelers musical and start laughing a lot. Or would be moving more towards things like your serious role in The Inner Sanctuary, in which I thought u were still hilarious…especially being drunk/.
-What about you frank? Are you going to be focusing more on stand up, or animated films? Or doing impro stuff like Thank God You’re Here?
-Will either of you still be coming up to Brisbane to perform? Cause I know that Col you were in the the Melbourne season of it’s a dad thing, and it came to Brisbane but you obviously weren’t in it. Or will you both be settling down and just perform in Melbourne mostly?
-What is the worse injury either of you have had performing?
-Most memorable and worse moment either on stage or when making the tv series?
-Best and worse heckle from an audience member?
-What do you do with those really annoying hecklers? Im thinking of those 2 metal heads at the Caloundra show who really pissed me off, that much that if there wasn’t a big gap between me and them, I would’ve belted them for being so rude! so im wondering how you two didn’t get annoyed by things like that?
-Favourite town to perform in? Worse town that you have performed in?
-When touring what do you do in your spare time?
-Who will be the most emotional on the final night? I noticed on the Rove interview on Tuesday, that when Frank was saying all his stuff, col you looked quite moved, and some of us fans noticed that when you spoke your voice went a bit funny! Have any of you nearly choked up yet during the tour?
-Are you looking forward to the final peformance? What will you be doing after the show?
-What happened to your Myspace?
-Did you ever think that so many people would constantly keep on quoting stuff you’ve done over the years? Or planning it so that almost everything in everyday life seems to make them remember something you two have done?
-Frank have you ever wanted to get back at Col for whacking you over the head with various things over the past 20 years, and have you ever been seriously injured in the process?
-Outside of performing what has been your career highlights?
-What’s the most dangerous stunt you’ve tried to do during your career? The one in Primal Warrior where Col you’re hanging upside down out the window, was that scary? I saw that while lying upside down off the lounge and got a huge headache after only a few seconds, so I imagine you got a big one after being upside down for a while?
